Throwback: CARIBBEAN CRUISE EXPERIENCE! (Part 3)

Spring break is slowly approaching, and so is summer. I want to throw it back to summer 2014, and describe my Carnival Cruise Experience! The experience was incredible, and something that I plan on going on again. The different cultures, people, and views that are present when you visit the various destinations will leave you speechless at the end of your trip.

DAY 5: SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

I feel like every destination so far has been described with the word amazing, but everything truly was amazing. San Juan was a trip that again, focused on shopping, but there were so many stores around that you just can't resist. There were also more options and stores that were recognizable; however, the only things I bought were a micro SD card for the GoPro I received the previous day along with a nice hat that had a wide brim. It was like a typical tourist hat which I was obsessed with.
The streets of the city were so narrow, and the buildings were short and colourful. There were buildings painted in pink and yellow, that I thought were beautiful. We also were able to visit a local church, which was nice.

DAY 6: GRAND TURK, THE BAHAMAS

Grand Turk was a mandatory beach day! We needed to visit the beach again, especially since this was the last destination on the itinerary. We signed on for one of the excursions offered by the cruise, snorkelling. I was especially excited, since it was an opportunity where I could use my brand new GoPro. It was fun and there were many fish, however, the reef was damaged due to excessive amount of visitors who visit the area. Therefore, it wasn't colourful, but instead grey. So this could be something you might want to consider if you plan on snorkelling! Afterwards we had lunch at Margaritaville, which was amazing. (Try the tacos!)

DAY 7: FUN DAY AT SEA

So on my final day on the boat I pretty much attempted to soak in everything I could all at once, and participate in some things. I ate all that I could eat. I played a little more at the casino and won a free drink! Which, by the way, was my only win of the entire trip - but I couldn't be more proud! I also swam and tanned. I ended the trip by watching Divergent up on the deck, where you could watch with others. It was so cool to watch a movie that way. It almost reminded my of what a drive in movie theatre would probably be like. It wasn't hot at all, and there was the perfect breeze, while there were tons of stars in the sky.

This concluded my trip! It was honestly amazing, and I encourage everyone to take the opportunity if they can. Breathtaking views during the days and nights, that everyone should have the pleasure of experiencing in their lives.
