Travel-TO: OUTFITS

Travelling to new places, and being in an unfamiliar place is one of the most exciting experiences ever - especially if you go to a place where the culture is completely different from where you're from! BUT, you definitely don't want to be without the essentials...
Travelling is awesome, yes, but you'll be wanting a few things on your trip with you. Here's my guide to surviving your next vacation!

The Outfit:

Whether you're going to be on a plane, a bus or a car ride - comfort is the most essential thing ever. You can't be sitting on a chair for a long period of time with the tightest jeans ever or any type of clothing that suffocates you. Personally, sweatpants, flannels, any type of light jacket, a hat and converse are my go to for any vacation. They're all super comfy and everyone probably has these pieces in their closet.

Here are some of my favourite places to shop for these items:
  1. Roots - Amazing Canadian company that sells sweatpants. Their products are of amazing quality, and will last you a very long time. In my opinion the prices are reasonable for the quality you're getting.
  2. H&M - They've got an amazing selection of flannels and basic sweaters and they usually have a sale going on so you can definitely find something nice. I'm pretty sure H&M is pretty much the store everyone goes to often for basics.
  3. Michael's - Yes, the craft store, BUT, they sell basic hats too for 5 dollars. I bought a basic black baseball cap for $5 dollars, and have gotten many compliments from it.
  4. Little Burgundy/SoftMoc - You can find converse pretty much at any shoe store but here's where I typically get mine. Another substitute is to wear Toms. Converse are my favourite shoe because they're so durable and comfy, but make sure you bring converse you've broken in.
  5. Sunglasses - A nice pair of glasses can improve any outfit. My favourite are aviators, and I think they look great on everyone. Shop here, here, and here for some nice ones. I usually bring cheap ones and one pair that are a little more expensive.
  6. A bonus accessory you could bring is a fanny pack. Super convenient for all of your important stuff! I got mine at American Apparel
Here's an example of my airport look:

Aviators - Urban Outfitters

Fanny Pack - American Apparel

Joggers - H&M
