"Canadian Tuxedo"
Confession time: I love wearing jean on jean from time to time. I don't know if it's the Canadian inside me, but I just love it. I think it can be a fun look.
So for this outfit I decided to pair my oversized medium washed jean jacket from Levi's with a shirt that I thrifted. As you can see the shirt is just a plain shirt with pinstripes that are extremely subtle. The colour of the shirt definitely reminds me of spring, and jeans are basically a staple for the season. I love oversized items, because it's more comfortable than always wearing items that are fitted to your body and that cling. I usually like roll the sleeves of mine two or three times.
Fun with Prints
Love this green army style jacket for the spring. It's so light, which is great for the spring weather, and could even work into cooler summer nights. It's also a good substitute for camouflage style clothing. This jacket is actually naturally baggy. It's a size small but fits like a large, so I roll up the length of sleeves up just below my elbows.
I paired the jacket with one of my favourite t-shirts. It's a basic white t-shirt with a contrasting pocket. I love pocket tees for the summer, and the spring. I think the colour combination of the pocket's design compliments the jacket well, and the print is similar to a floral pattern. The t-shirt is from PacSun and the jacket is from Marshalls.
Quilted Vests
I love the look of a quilt. I think it's just so interesting to look at, and I love that the colour of the vest is blue. This is a great choice for cooler spring days. This knit sweater was thrifted, and pairing it with this quilted vest from the GAP gives the outfit texture that looks interesting, but its a very casual and plain outfit at the same time.
I encourage everyone to find some quilted clothing, because it's a really nice piece that can contrast an outfit extremely well.
These are my favourite outfits for spring, and there are so many places where you can find dupes that are extremely similar to these looks.
I also want to say that i'm really excited to be doing a spring series where I basically focus all my content on the spring time - such as spring break essentials, spring break stories, travelling guides etc.
